Most kimchi in Canada is imported from overseas. To accommodate long freight and shipping, Here’s what happens
Everything is pasteurized. This makes kimchi shelf-stable – no need for refrigeration. It leaves the kimchi with very few nutrients.
Half the kimchi is pasteurized to extend the shelf life, which means only 50% of the whole content is raw. This kills the naturally occurring probiotics.
Artificial preservatives, including nitrates, may be added. Some preservatives kill probiotics and can be harmful to your body
Freshness Guaranteed
Baechu Kimchi is proudly made in Canada with 100% natural ingredients.
