What the heck even IS Kimchi?
My kimchi bubbles, is it okay to eat?
Yes! Bubbles are a natural byproduct of raw fermentation. If you don’t like fizzy kimchi, simply leave the jar open for 5-10 minutes to make it go “flat” (Yes, just like pop).
Is Kimchi Gluten-Free?
Yes!* Some brands of kimchi contain gluten from wheat or soy in the fish sauce, but ours does not.
Is Baechu Kimchi Vegan?
*While not all Kimchi is vegan friendly, we do offer 100% plant-based kimchi options.
How do I eat kimchi?
Treat Kimchi like sauerkraut! – Kimchi on sausage, kimchi with steak, kimchi in a grilled cheese sandwich.

How long can it be kept?
12 months refrigerated. Older kimchi may have stronger flavour, which is great for kimchi fried rice!
Do you ship to PO box?
Unfortunately No, because kimchi is temperature-sensitive we cannot deliver to a PO box address
My kimchi arrived damaged! What can I do??
